Not my intention to be late My apologies However, time was set at 5-6pm (means earliest reach by 5pm & latest will be 6pm) Well, that was the plan in the first place I have informed at 5.13pm to have it change to 6.30pm due to delays on my side. Technically, late by half hour. (You mentioned that I was late for 1.5hours) You called and I did not pick up (mover here trying best to finish current job (driving or carrying heavy stuffs). But, I responded once my hands are free which is at 5.13pm.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to be flexible in this case as the pick up was arranged at another seller side whose time I have no control over. By being late, he jeopardised the entire move. Any home owner would be horrified if the mover did not turn up as per agreed time and leave the entire well planned moved in limbo. The mover did not contact me proactively and give me heads up of the delay. He only reacted to my message after I made two calls (no pick up) telling me he would be late.
